I updated my blog theme today. Check it out if you’re reading this via feed reader.
I just love TypePad’s themes. They do all the work and you just pick one you like, and change it when the mood strikes you. So easy.
I also moved the blog post column to the left and put both side columns on the right. I discovered this is a much better way to present the blog for those who read it from their mobile phones after downloading the Opera Mini web browser to my Blackberry and trying to view my website. It shows the leftmost part of the page first, or course, so one would have to scroll over to see the content in the second column. Now that the main content is already in the first column, no more scrolling! Also, I can change to Mobile View and see everything in one long column rather than having to scroll from left to right. Very cool!
I am searching for groovy apps for my Blackberry Bold. So far I have:
- Opera Mini web browser
- TwitterBerry
- Google Maps (and signed up with Latitude so I can track my friends’ whereabouts and they can track me, but don’t freak out: you can hide yourself any time you want)
- Google Mobile App (though I admit I rarely us it)
- Mobi Pocket Reader (another one I have not really used but only because I am too cheap to pay for eBooks and have not yet searched for freebies)
I found 1-4 at The Online Business Blog. Any suggestions? Have you found any apps for your Blackberry you just can’t live without?
