Indeed.... To me the hardest part of getting things done is feeling confident about those I might hire to do what I feel I'm not competent enough to do myself.
Without friends or neighbors about to recommend a good professional, I've been frozen.
As to what I can accomplish myself - the den ceiling beams remain in a frozen state not unlike Snow White due to circumstance and my fear that there is a curse on them that I shall fall ill each time I get into working on them.
