Politics and Two Hot Guys

I rarely watch the news. Neither do I read news magazines. I especially avoid anything political because the blatant bias makes me crazy.

What bothers me most is knowing there are people out there who don't recognize bias when they see it. Worse is when said people believe what they hear without bothering find out if it's true. They don't listen to the other side. Or if they do, they brand the other guy a liar because both messages cannot possibly be true without first buying into the Alternate Universe Theory. And a politico would never endorse science fiction. Not in an election year, anyway.

I often wonder why it doesn't occur to them maybe both guys are lying.

This goes back to my post from Monday, in a way: "Tell me what to think so I don't have to think for myself." People. PEOPLE. I have been down that road and you know what's down there? A mean guy in a creaky old barn poking a defenseless animal with a stick. His name is Bigot and he smells.

Now I don't live with my head in the sand all of the time. I do read a lot of blogs. Jay at The Zero Boss is one of them. I discover a lot of great material through his Sugar Rush link posts.

Oh, and this is neither here nor there, but Jay is a hottie!
